How does Secure Cloud Home work?

Secure Cloud Home syncs your files and photos between your devices over your local Wi-Fi network. Your data stays on your devices and is encrypted with AES-256-GCM encryption. No cloud servers involved.

Which platforms are supported?

Secure Cloud Home is available on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and Linux. You need the desktop app running as a server and a mobile app to sync.

Why can't my phone find the desktop server?

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. Secure Cloud Home transfers files directly between your devices on your local network. Your files are never uploaded to any cloud server. Only your authentication credentials are managed by Firebase.

How do I sign out or remove my data?

Secure Cloud Home does not create an account on any server — it only uses your email or Apple ID for login via Firebase Authentication. To sign out, go to Settings and tap "Sign Out". Your synced files remain on your own devices and can be deleted manually.

Why does Secure Cloud Home need photo library access?

Secure Cloud Home needs access to your photo library to sync your photos and videos to your desktop server. You can revoke this permission at any time from your device settings.
