Secure Cloud Home ("we", "our", or "the app") is a file synchronization application developed by Inception Apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Secure Cloud Home on any platform (iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address and user ID — collected through Firebase Authentication when you sign in with email or Apple ID. Used solely for authentication and identifying your sync account.
Synced Content
- Photos and files — synced between your devices over your local network. Your files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored only on your own devices. We do not have access to your files.
Analytics & Diagnostics
- Device identifiers and usage data — collected by Firebase Analytics to help us understand app usage and improve performance. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
Advertising
- Advertising data — Google AdMob may collect device information to serve ads. No personal data is shared with advertisers. We do not use tracking (IDFA/GAID) for personalized advertising.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your account and enable file synchronization
- To discover your devices on the local network via mDNS
- To encrypt and securely transfer your files between your devices
- To display non-personalized advertisements
- To analyze app usage and improve the user experience
3. Data Storage & Security
Your files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and are stored exclusively on your own devices. Sync Secure operates on your local network — your files are never uploaded to any cloud server controlled by us. Each user's data is isolated using hashed user IDs.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by the third-party services listed above (Firebase, AdMob) for their core functionality.
6. Your Rights
- You can sign out at any time from the app settings. No account data is stored on our servers.
- You can revoke photo library access from your device settings.
- You can opt out of analytics collection from the app settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Sync Secure is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
